These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MASTALEARN IB Pedagogy & Programme Development Certificate platform (the "Course"), operated by MASTALEARN (the "Provider"). By creating an account, enrolling, or accessing any Course content, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate registration information. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Access to Course modules, the dashboard, and credentials requires a registered, logged-in account.

2. Course Access & Use

Enrollment grants you a personal, non-transferable license to access the Course content for your own professional development. You may not share, resell, redistribute, or publicly post Course materials, lesson content, rubrics, or assessments. Downloadable resources are provided for your individual classroom use.

3. Credentialing

Module certificates, the final certificate, and the graded transcript are issued only when you meet the stated requirements, including a minimum 60% quiz score per module. The final certificate and transcript additionally require an active paid subscription. Certificates are issued in the name you provide and are verified against the account email on file. The Provider reserves the right to revoke a credential found to be obtained through academic dishonesty.

4. Payment & Subscriptions

Paid tiers and memberships are billed through Stripe. Recurring subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You may cancel future renewals at any time; access continues until the end of the current paid period. Pricing is listed on the Pricing page and may change; changes do not affect already-paid terms.

5. No Guarantee of IB Credential

This Course supports preparation for the IB Certificate in Teaching and Learning (IBCTL) pathway but is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a substitute for the official IB authorization process. The Provider does not guarantee employment outcomes or IB World School hiring.

6. Intellectual Property

All Course content, branding, and materials are the property of the Provider and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party IB materials referenced remain the property of the International Baccalaureate Organization.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Course is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Course. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months.

8. Changes to Terms

The Provider may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled users.

This Privacy Policy explains how MASTALEARN collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Course.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, and password (stored securely by the platform authentication service).
• Progress & assessment data: module completion, quiz scores, lesson progress, and points.
• Credential information: your certificate name, issued certificates, and verification records.
• Payment information: processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
• Lead information: name, email, school, and programme interest submitted via free mini-courses, inquiries, CV audit, or webinar forms.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and personalize the Course, issue and verify credentials, process payments, send nurture and course emails (only to leads who opted in), provide AI tutor assistance, and improve our content. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Data Sharing

We share data only with service providers that power the platform (e.g. Stripe for payments, the AI provider for tutor features) under their own privacy obligations, and where legally required. Aggregate, de-identified data may be used for analytics and marketing.

4. Data Retention

Account and credential records are retained for the life of your account plus the period needed for verification and legal compliance. Lead data is retained per your consent until you request deletion.

5. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent for marketing emails, by contacting MASTALEARN support. You may cancel your subscription at any time.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The Course is intended for adult educators and professionals and is not directed at children under 18.

We want you to be confident in your enrollment. This policy explains when refunds are available.

1. Self-Paced Tiers (Tier 1)

If you are not satisfied with the self-paced Course, request a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have completed no more than two modules. After 7 days or substantial progress, refunds are at the Provider's discretion.

2. Cohort & VIP Tiers (Tiers 2 & 3)

Because these tiers include scheduled live sessions and reserved coaching, refunds are available up to 7 days before the cohort start date. Once the cohort begins, fees are non-refundable.

3. B2B / Institutional Licenses

B2B packs are refundable within 14 days of purchase if no seats have been activated. Once seats are assigned and activated, the annual fee is non-refundable.

4. Memberships

Monthly and annual memberships may be cancelled at any time to stop future billing. Cancellation does not refund the current paid period; access continues until the end of that period.

5. How to Request a Refund

Request a refund through the in-app support channel, including your account email and order reference. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact support before initiating a chargeback. Unwarranted chargebacks may result in account and credential suspension.
